We are looking for a talented individual to join us as Head of Content & Dialogue, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and communicating Stora Enso’s narrative and in leading our Content & Dialogue team. As Head of Content & Dialogue, you will: 

• Set the vision and lead the implementation of unified content and dialogue strategies in close collaboration with senior stakeholders. 

• Lead and mentor a team of content professionals, fostering a collaborative, data-driven and innovative environment. 

• Oversee the planning, creation, and distribution of high-quality content for internal and external channels, ensuring consistency of tone, style, and messaging. 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key audiences, both within and outside Stora Enso, to drive engagement and open dialogue. 

• Monitor and report on content and dialogue performance, leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategy and optimise outcomes. 

• Stay abreast of trends in content, communication, and stakeholder engagement to keep our channels fresh, relevant, and influential. 

• Champion Stora Enso’s values and sustainability agenda in every piece of content and every conversation.

Who are we looking for? 

We’re searching for a strategic communicator and a strong team leader with a university degree in communications, journalism or a related field, and substantial experience in developing and leading communications processes, content strategies, editorial work, channels, and tools. You have a proven track record of designing and implementing unified narratives for large organisations and can ensure the Stora Enso story is communicated consistently across all internal and external platforms.  

Your analytical skills enable you to define, monitor, and report on communications KPIs, using data-driven insights to measure impact and continuously improve outcomes. You are comfortable with a broad communications toolkit—covering digital channels, social media, internal platforms, and intranets—and can adapt messaging to diverse audiences. 

You excel at building relationships and networks, collaborating with colleagues and external partners to bring in outside perspectives and benchmark best practices. You combine creativity with strategic thinking, keeping up with trends in content and dialogue to ensure our communications remain relevant and compelling. 

Fluency in English is essential, and your writing and verbal skills are of the highest calibre. Detail-oriented yet able to see the bigger picture, you thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and are ready to lead Stora Enso’s content and dialogue forward. 

You can work from our office either in Stockholm or Helsinki. We apply hybrid ways of working, meeting colleagues in the office at least half of the working week.
