The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware Asset Manager (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in IT Asset Management, with a focus on managing hardware assets within a secure, government environment. This role requires expertise in managing asset databases, understanding government excess processes, and ensuring the efficient lifecycle management of hardware assets. The Hardware Asset Manager will be responsible for directing and managing asset management activities, ensuring compliance with established protocols, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Asset Management Database (DB) Management:
Direct and manage the Asset Management Database, preferably in ServiceNow.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all hardware assets.
Government Excess Process:
Manage the government excess process for hardware assets.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Warranty Service and Inventory Management:
Oversee warranty services for hardware assets.
Manage inventory movement, reconciliation, lifecycle, and spares control.
Data Management:
Utilize Microsoft Excel (including macros, pivot tables, and data analysis tools) for data management and reporting.
Maintain and update asset databases with accurate and relevant data elements.
Documentation and Lifecycle Management:
Develop, create, and maintain lifecycle management documents, including Asset Management Plans and Configuration Management Plans.
Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with organizational standards.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and issues related to hardware assets.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management:
Apply basic project management skills to schedule-focused projects.
Ensure timely completion of asset management tasks and projects.
Tool Proficiency:
Utilize tools such as System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for asset management.
Conduct research on hardware compatibility and requirements as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's of Science degree in IT or related field.
Experience:
5 - 7 years of related experience in IT Asset Management.
Skills:
Expert in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong documentation skills.
Excellent customer service and oral and written communication skills.
Basic project management skills.
Certifications:
ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioners Certificate.
Security+ Certified.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$70,800 - $148,600
