Job Details:
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for conducting physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, accurately documenting and calculating results, and taking corrective action when necessary. The role requires promptly notifying appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting findings to management. Additional assignments may be assigned as needed. All team members are responsible for maintaining safety, including personal safety and food safety.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the poultry industry or relevant QA experience required.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Special Skills:
Ability to complete Tyson paperwork accurately
Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate hourly team members
Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills
Solid math and organizational capabilities
Ability to read and interpret product specifications
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Flexibility to work in various areas and shifts as needed
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 70 lbs or more.
