About Flutter:

Flutter consists of two commercial divisions (FanDuel and International) and our central Flutter Functions; COO, Finance & Legal. Here in Flutter Functions we work with colleagues across all our divisions and regions to deliver something we call the Flutter Edge.  It’s our competitive advantage, our ‘secret sauce’ which plays a key part in our ongoing success and powers our brands and divisions, through Product, Tech, Expertise and Scale.

In Flutter Legal we provide global expertise to protect the Flutter brand and drive the “Flutter Edge”. The team are leaders of our sustainability and social license to help our customers and communities thrive.

Reporting to the Group Head of Communities & Engagement, this important role involves driving progress of the Do More pillar of our Positive Impact Plan, engaging stakeholders, raising awareness and motivating colleagues to get involved in innovative and impactful volunteer activities.

We’re looking for someone who can connect the dots between big picture and on-the-ground action. You will be leading on our global Do More Together– balancing strategy with action, offering support to our brands and locations to amplify their local activities and co-ordinating across the Group to ensure we can amplify what they are doing as part of our collective Do More Together story.

The ideal person thrives on relationships, communication and creativity. You’ll be as comfortable drafting a Slack post or designing a slide as you are analysing participation data or motivating senior stakeholders. Most of all, you’ll enjoy helping people get involved and see the difference they can make.

What you’ll do:

As the Group Communities Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and improving our volunteer initiatives across the globe. Your efforts will ensure that our Do More Together website remains the go-to resource for volunteer opportunities and that our community engagement activities are flawlessly accomplished. You will:

  • Coordinate the full volunteering calendar, including our flagship Q2 campaign, festive giving, and ad-hoc initiatives, collaborating closely with local leads.
  • Engage and influence divisions, brands, and offices to encourage and expand their own volunteering activities while providing assistance and connecting collaborators with OnHand.
  • Foster positive connections with Do More leads, local champions, and charity committees to uphold visibility, alignment, and shared reporting.
  • Amplify local stories, data, and impact to help Flutter tell a single, global volunteering story.
  • Partner with Sustainability Comms to ensure consistent messaging with Flutter’s Positive Impact Plan, effectively sharing our stories of impact and action.
  • Co-ordinate and lead on the hands-on delivery of volunteering and giving activities across Flutter Functions hubs and offices, ensuring seamless participation.
  • Plan, promote, and deliver group-wide volunteer events and activations that encourage participation and align with Do More Together, including global community partner activities such as Cure Leukaemia.
  • Raise awareness among Flutter Functions colleagues about using and logging their volunteer days.
  • Manage logistics for key events, from venue and partner coordination to communications and photography.
  • Be responsible for our partnership with OnHand, driving adoption, improving user experience, and coordinating global or themed campaigns.
  • Support local teams using OnHand to build engagement and measure impact.
  • Evaluate new and existing community partnerships that offer inclusive, accessible ways to volunteer.
  • Strengthen data collection methodology, completeness, and reporting on participation, events, causes supported, and total lives reached.
  • Compile global reports, visuals, and post-campaign portfolios that highlight our reach and impact.
  • Take charge of the post-campaign evaluation for Do More Together 2026, summarizing results and learnings to guide 2027 strategizing.
  • Test new engagement ideas, from gamified challenges to peer recognition.
  • Share guidelines and success stories to embed volunteering into everyday culture.

What You’ll Bring:

We are looking for an individual with resilience, a strong work ethic, and a passion for making a difference. You should have:

  • Around 4+ years’ experience in employee engagement, culture, or community-related programs.
  • Outstanding relationship-building and influencing skills, confident in managing various collaborators.
  • Strong communication skills, including writing, visual composing, and digital content creation.
  • Comfort with using data to tell stories and proficiency in Excel for tracking and analyzing metrics.
  • Experience in planning and delivering events or campaigns with operational awareness.
  • Strong organizational abilities, meticulousness, and capacity to stay composed in stressful situations.
  • Familiarity with employee engagement or volunteering platforms and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Ingenuity, forward thinking, and the capacity to motivate and unite individuals towards a shared objective.
  • Self-drive and the capacity to operate autonomously while still engaging with various teams.
  • Excel at PowerPoint and Excel, with a talent for crafting compelling visuals.
