Job Description

The Graduate Assistant will primarily assist with data processing and the drafting of technical reports and documents related to assessment and accreditation, while also developing infographics and providing light technical support to the office. By providing this necessary technical capacity and support to the IRIDA team, the Graduate Assistant enables the Office to efficiently document, improve, and articulate the University's achievements to external stakeholders, directly furthering PVAMU’s core mission of excellence in teaching, research, and service.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and edit technical reports

  • Review and refine institutional documentation for clarity and accuracy

  • Process and organize data for institutional reports using Excel

  • Maintain data files and ensure data integrity

  • Create infographics and data visualization

  • Design visual materials for presentations and reports

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semester).

  • Must be in good academic standing.
