THE JOB:
As a Gourmet Food Server at Harvest, your primary responsibility will be to take and deliver customer orders with finesse while ensuring that tables are well-maintained and guest satisfaction is always prioritized. In our relaxed fine dining environment, where globally-inspired and American seasonal cuisine is brought to life, your attention to detail will be paramount in enhancing each guest's dining experience. You will finalize checks and perform essential side work, including the general cleaning of your assigned stations, ensuring that everything is in perfect order. Your commitment to providing outstanding service will not only delight our guests but also contribute to the vibrant atmosphere that makes Harvest a unique destination for culinary artistry.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.5047 hourly + tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
Guide guest through all phases of their experience at the restaurant
Knowledgeable of selling techniques, service delivery of both non and alcoholic beverages, and service delivery of menu items of every course
Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned area, side station, tables and Point of Sale (POS) station
Anticipate the guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
Communicate with management, chef and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guest and or employees
Perform other job-related duties as requested
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
3+ years of experience serving in an upscale dining restaurant
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
