As a Global Process Champion, the objectives / purpose of the role:

  • Deliver and implement the process related vision of the Global Process Owner (GPO) and Global Process Expert (GPE) related to Travel and P.Card related expense (T&E).
  • Act as the first point of contact for Operational Leads and Business Partners to drive end-to-end global process excellence.
  • Define the shared process KPIs and identify new opportunities as part of the end-to-end globaL process model.
  • Responsible for driving process standardization (monitoring, addressing local deviations and facilitation of user change management/ training/ virtual community), documentation and functions as a
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all process related projects/implementations, and is a key driver in optimization, automation and robotization.
  • Reports to the Global Process Expert – Procure to Pay (P2P) and will be an innovative and trusted partner to the business, GREFP and TBS operational teams across the global network of core hubs and delivery centres.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for end-to-end process standardization, optimization, automation and robotization as defined by the GPE organization in relation to T&E and P2P Payments processes.
  • Definition and documentition of process KPIs, global process flows and local deviations, including addressing/ resolving local deviations and addressing process related issues identified in Root Cause Analysis.
  • Reviewing opportunities for continuous improvement (CI) and intelligent automation (IA) of the T&E / Payables process and leverage internal network assess support needed to lead to comple- tion as part of the overall GPO Governance Framework.
  • Report to line manager on progress on tasks assigned, challenges and opportunities identified.
  • Acting as a process SME, being the single point of contact for process related issues from Opera- tions or Business Partners (e.g. provide the role as a process SME in the taskforce). He/she is the process SME role and leads process related implementations (e.g. process change, transition).Participate in regional governance forums to support business partners representing process per- spective.
  • Responsible for process related project implementation; functioning as the process SME and acting in a Business Analyst role to gather and define requirements in a structured manner.
  • Providing regional cost and resource requirements for process optimization initiatives as budget inputs.
  • Participating, as required, in innovation initiatives to identify, evaluate, and qualify potential areas of improvement in regard to T&E or Payments processes
  • Key contact for external key stakeholders such as Concur, Bank of America and Appzen.

CORE ELEMENTS RELATED TO THIS ROLE

  • Robust understanding of the various S2P applications (SAP/Ariba/Concur) and processes and how the data flows through the system applications
  • Creative thinking in problem solving and issue resolution (incl. complex issues) and a drive to help operations to simplify and standardise S2P processes
  • Ability to interact with non-technical users and form the technical requirements (considering the various process solutions) for DD&T to implement
  • Good communication and project management skill

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • 8+ years’ experience in ERP or Procurement technology (Concur, Ariba, SAP)
  • Extensive knowledge of Concur and associated banking systems including integrations and best practices.
  • In depth knowledge of T&E audit practices and automation.
  • Unwavering integrity with confidence and self-awareness.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate at the highest levels of corporate management.
  • Strong controls mindset and experience of SOX compliance.
  • Clear thinker with ability to develop, communicate and deliver clear strategy and action plans.
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement approaches
  • Fluent in English
