Job Description:
The Culture & Engagement Program Manager will play a critical role in designing and executing initiatives that strengthen engagement and connection across HPE. This individual will help operationalize the global Culture & Engagement strategy—developing programs, tools, and processes that enhance how team members experience our workplace every day.
You will serve as a trusted advisor and program lead, working cross-functionally with HR, and business units to deliver enterprise-wide initiatives that drive engagement and connection. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on HPE’s culture by supporting programs that help our people thrive and our business succeed.
This role reports to the Engagement and Emerging Markets Director and is part of the global Culture & Engagement team and will require working across multiple time zones and outside local time zones on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Global Culture & Engagement initiatives that foster connection, purpose, and belonging across HPE.
Design and implement tools, resources, and processes that bring engagement strategies to life across regions and teams.
Develop project plans, timelines, dashboards, and reports to track progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Build strong cross-functional relationships with HR, and business partners to drive program success and adoption.
Support leadership development activations, including workshops, speaker sessions, and cohort-based experiences that strengthen engagement and growth.
Oversee governance and operational excellence for engagement-related initiatives, ensuring consistency across geographies and alignment with global standards.
Monitor performance metrics and gather feedback to assess impact, identify gaps, and recommend continuous improvements.
Identify risks and challenges early, proposing actionable solutions to maintain momentum and ensure delivery.
Stay informed on external engagement and culture trends, using insights to evolve programs.
Work effectively across time zones and cultures, ensuring alignment and connection with global teams.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
6–8 years of experience managing high-impact programs or projects in HR.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, plan, and execute complex initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Proven ability to build networks and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret data and translate insights into action.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating executive-level presentations.
High level of flexibility, resilience, and comfort navigating ambiguity.
Self-starter with strong initiative and accountability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
