Job Description:

  • Own the coding/design of a sub-module
  • Review the requirements and provide simple, workable solutions
  • Design and document the sub-module working with the tech-lead
  • Implement the critical parts of the module
  • Ensure coding standards, proper design patterns, writing test cases.
  • Mentor the junior programmers
  • Peer and junior programmer's code review
  • Work independently and proactively to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance

Skillset Requirements:

  • Strong experience in developing backend systems JavaScript
  • (Node.js) or Java, along with frameworks like Express.js, and
  • Spring Boot, and databases like MySQL or MongoDB.
  • Prior experience [minimum 6+ years] in stack Angular JS CSS,
  • Java Script, HTML5, Boot Strap or React
  • /Vue.JS/Next.Js and overall experience of 6-10 years in software
  • development.
  • Ability to work in a team structure and deliver projects on time.
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills in super
  • changing environment
  • Understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Should have knowledge on any of the Cloud Technologies
  • [AWS/Azure/GCP].
  • Strong troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand business and technical requirements
  • Ability to document the requirements inform of word document
  • and/or UML diagrams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • PREFERRED Qualifications
  • Experience with Designer Specialty Retail and Food & Drug POS
  • solutions (payments, eWIC, loyalty, promotions, etc.)
  • Experience with POS and Self-Checkout Integrations.
  • Experience with Cloud development.
  • Good to know the Japanese Language
