About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
About the role
The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the face of the hotel, ensuring every guest receives a warm, professional, and efficient welcome. This role is responsible for performing check-in and check-out procedures with accuracy, making sure guests are assigned their requested room types and charged the correct rates. The Receptionist attends to all guest needs with the highest level of hospitality, responds promptly to inquiries, assists with special requests, and resolves any issues to guarantee a positive experience. Additionally, this position safeguards guest privacy and handles all front desk information with strict confidentiality. As a key point of contact, the Front Desk Receptionist plays an essential role in creating lasting impressions and supporting a seamless stay for every guest.
What you will do
Efficiently and courteously check guests in, using their name whenever possible. Ensure that the guest is assigned the room type requested in their reservation and is charged the correct rate.
Perform check-out procedures at the end of the stay. Verify guest satisfaction, collect room keys, account for any additional charges, and present the final invoice. Settle the bill accurately using various forms of payment.
Assign rooms for upcoming reservations 48 hours in advance.
Handle the corresponding daily billing procedures.
Attend to all guests with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, fulfilling special requests whenever possible; resolve guest complaints; assist guests with inquiries related to hotel services, opening hours, key staff members, internal events, directions, etc.
Respond to all guest requests accurately and promptly. Guest interaction will occur both in person and over the phone.
Safeguard the security and privacy of guests, as well as the confidentiality of any information handled at the front desk.

Previous customer experience and ability to work effectively under pressure.
Guest centricity and understanding the importance of guest’s preferences.
Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
History of working in a team environment and developing working relationships.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office products, Opera, Salesforce and other programs as needed.
The candidate must hold the required authorization to work in an European country.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency both in Spanish and English.
Legal authorization to work in Spain.
