Freight Broker – Western Express


Location: Nashville, TN (Corporate Headquarters)


Job Type: Full-Time

At Western Express, our Freight Brokers manage multiple clients in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly rewarding environment. As a key member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art corporate headquarters in Nashville, TN—collaborating with some of the best professionals in the transportation industry.

In this role, you’ll identify opportunities to maximize revenue and partner across business lines to provide customers with the most effective transportation solutions.

Salary Range:

$60,000–$90,000 annually, based on performance-driven incentive earnings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships

  • Manage and coordinate transportation needs for assigned accounts

  • Negotiate freight rates and drive consistent growth in revenue

  • Track and monitor client shipments to ensure service excellence

  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline and improve processes

  • Make high-volume daily calls to effectively service client accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)

  • Previous sales or management experience preferred

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Schedule Options

  • 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
