Freelance Senior 3D Character artist (Realistic Characters)

We are currently looking for an experienced 3D Artist to work remotely, in-house, or on a freelance basis to deliver great-looking realistic 3D characters for AAA games of different genres.

Responsibilities:

• Creation of realistic characters
• Match the required art style of a project
• Cooperate with other artists to streamline the art creation process
• Work with team lead to create a plan and schedule

Required Skills:

• Strong sculpting, modeling and texturing skills
• Ability to follow and correctly interpret the concept
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, color, shape, scale, silhouette, proportion
• Strong knowledge of cloth simulation
• Good understanding of character topology for animation
• Strong knowledge of 3dsMax/Maya/Blender, ZBrush, Photoshop, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag
• Ability to create realistic hair with cards
• Understanding of technical limitations and art pipelines for the photoreal character creation
• Strong portfolio showing 3D art skills
• Good organization, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Familiarity with the game development cycle

As a plus:

• Ability to create and texture a 3D model from an image or description
• Knowledge of Unreal engine 4/5, Unity
• Ability to communicate in English
• Experience with AAA production pipeline
• Passion for games
