Job Description:
About the role:
Manage, coordinate, support, and oversee centralized processes aimed at ensuring that financial information related to the Energy Business is produced on time, in accordance with established policies and procedures, and with the necessary quality to allow for an integrated view of business performance, facilitating decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly closings: Plan and coordinate with the business the monthly closing tasks, ensuring the flow of financial information required by the Energy Division: portfolio, income statement, and balance sheet, with special focus on structural costs and cash flow.
- Design, implement, and monitor controls that guarantee the integrity of reported information, proposing improvements to achieve maximum quality and efficiency in processes.
- Budget: Plan budgeting and review tasks, ensuring the flow of financial information required by the Division. Establish necessary controls to ensure compliance with instructions and guarantee the integrity of reported information.
- Analyze deviations from budget and revised figures for the Energy Business, as well as for each of its activities and geographies.
- Provide support in audits, compliance tasks, and Group Ferrovial requirements.
- Assist in the integration of Energy Business systems.
Qualifications:
- Higher education degree, mainly in Business Administration, Economics, or similar, with extensive knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis. (Required)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing functions as auditor (external and/or internal), analyst, management control, or consolidation. (Required)
- Knowledge and experience in SAP FI, CO. (Valuable)
- English: high level.
