How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and implement core cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Define secure architectures and controls for IT systems, networks, and applications.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to prioritize remediation.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align security with operational goals.
- Streamline security processes such as IAM, encryption, and network security.
- Enforce governance and compliance with global standards and regulations.
- Integrate advanced security technologies for seamless protection.
- Monitor the evolving threat landscape and adapt strategies proactively.
- Lead change management initiatives and foster a security-first culture.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred; equivalent experience considered).
- 4+ years of cybersecurity-related experience, focusing on security foundations or posture enhancement.
- 5+ years of program management experience, preferably in cybersecurity frameworks or risk management.
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and secure architecture design.
- Strong understanding of risk assessments, vulnerability management, and threat analysis.
- Proven ability to collaborate with global IT and security teams.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

Colorado Salary: $90,000 - $130,000
