The contractor will support the digitization of refugee (forcibly displaced persons) physical files through the following key tasks:
• Logging case file identifiers (e.g., file number, name, case type).
• Scanning documents into compressed, searchable PDF format.
• Indexing scanned files with relevant metadata.
• Uploading finalized files to SharePoint and backing them up on external hard drives.
• Ensuring quality control and data integrity throughout the process.
The contractor will also support the implementation of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) by executing the following
• Facilitate training sessions for enumerators and supervisors, including translation protocols, UNHCR code of conduct, and cultural sensitivity in engagements with the forcibly displaced.
Fixing of the population in preparation of the logistical transportation processes and accountability
• Monitor data collection activities to ensure quality and adherence to IRRS standards.
• Troubleshoot field challenges and ensure timely reporting.
• Data Management and Information management
• Support ZimStat and UNHCR in data cleaning and validation.
• Assist in the production of the forcibly displaced persons module within the MICS.
• Ensure anonymization and statistical disclosure control in line with UNHCR and national data protection standards.
Reporting and Dissemination
• Contribute to the drafting of preliminary findings, key snapshots, and the final report.
• Organize dissemination workshops for stakeholders and community-level feedback sessions.
Ensure JDC contributions are acknowledged in all public deliverables
