AIG Underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, and Multinational Clients. We are reimagining how we help customers to manage risk, transforming our operating model and reshaping our role responsibilities and career pathways. How you will create an impact

  • This role will focus on underwriting new and renewal business to help drive the profitable growth of our Financial lines product including Cyber.
  • Underwrite and evaluate Financial Lines risks, including assessment of clients’ IT security posture, industry exposure, and financial position.
  • Develop a pipeline of new business and manage existing relationships to maximize value
  • Work as a team member to achieve department Financial budget.
  • Get involved in Financial Lines strategy development
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, client and broker meetings, and industry events. Identify target accounts, and monitor progress against budget by utilizing appropriate reports and tools
  • Maintain accurate files, registers and records to contribute to management reporting and timely service and policy issuance
  • Assist in the implementation of business plans in accordance with department and company direction.
  • Ensure operation working smoothly and reduce bottleneck to maximize efficiency and reduce compliance and regulatory risk i.e. checking Policy accuracy, tracking response time, control administration, cooperating with other departments in specific purpose and etc.
  • Reviews pending files, ensuring all items are being handled in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the maintenance/development of solid working relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide communication and direction for all processing requirements, including policy issuance and endorsements, premium registration and collections issues
  • Support handle to generate department report on monthly basis and support information to team members
  • Collaborate with administration staff, legal, claims, finance and accounting and any other services departments, if needed
  • Other tasks in a project assigned by Head of Department

What we are looking for

  • Education (minimum required): BA Degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, IT or related field.
  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese, effective communication skills, and able to make presentations both languages.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, data protection regulations, and digital risk trends is an advantage.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Eager to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-changing environment.
  • Energetic, logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under tough situations / high pressure.
