Your Opportunity
The Financial Coordinator is responsible for supporting the financial planning, reporting, and contract management activities that enable effective cost control and decision-making across Innovation and Change (I&C). You will work closely with I&C leadership, IT, Procurement, and Finance to manage budgets, supplier contracts, software licensing, spend analysis, and monthly financial reporting. As the Financial Coordinator, you will ensure all IT and Innovation financial activities are conducted with accuracy, transparency, and alignment with organizational policies and strategic priorities.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities include:
Budgeting & Financial Management
Develop, manage, and monitor the annual IT and Innovation operating and capital budgets in collaboration with leadership.
Track and forecast IT and Innovation expenses across multiple cost centers and projects.
Prepare and reconcile monthly profit & loss (P&L) reports to ensure financial accuracy and identify variances.
Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on budget vs. actual spend.
Support invoice and contract reconciliation to maintain accurate budget tracking and P&L reporting.
Support strategic planning through financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
Spend Analysis & Reporting
Conduct spend analysis on investments, including hardware, software, cloud services, and consulting.
Reconcile spend against contract and budget schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Identify trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for savings or efficiency improvements.
Prepare financial dashboards, reports, and presentations for the leadership team and stakeholders.
Support leadership with ad-hoc financial insights and data-driven recommendations.
Supplier & Contract Management
Coordinate with Procurement to manage supplier contracts, including renewals, amendments, and compliance with corporate policies.
Maintain a centralized repository of vendor agreements, SLAs, software licenses, and renewal documentation.
Track all contracts and maintain a renewal schedule, proactively notifying owners in advance to ensure timely action, renegotiation, and engagement with vendors to prevent service disruptions.
Perform invoice matching and reconciliation — verify invoices against contracts, purchase orders, and budgets before processing for payment.
Oversee software licensing management — assign, track, and reconcile licenses against contracts, budgets, and usage records.
Assist in vendor evaluations, RFP processes, and negotiations in collaboration with Procurement.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure financial practices align with corporate policies, procurement procedures, and audit requirements.
Support the department in adhering to internal controls and compliance standards.
Assist with cost allocation models and chargebacks to business units.
Collaboration & Support
Partner with Finance to align reporting practices, budget structures, and accounting entries.
Collaborate with Innovation and IT managers to monitor project budgets and financial milestones.
Serve as a key liaison between IT, Procurement, and Finance to ensure seamless financial coordination.
Provide timely, accurate, and actionable financial information to support strategic initiatives.

Your experience and education
Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of financial coordination or analyst experience, preferably in IT or a technology-driven environment.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Experience with supplier contract management, procurement processes, and invoice reconciliation.
Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling).
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
