Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) / Radio Frequency Solutions (RFS) – a product line within Raytheon - is looking for a motivated entry level finance professional to assist the MP-RTIP team. This position is an integral part of the Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions (STaRS) finance team.

What You Will Do

  • You will work closely with the program managers as well as cross-functional partners to facilitate financial results, while also maintaining excellent internal controls.
  • You will help create a management operating system to enhance organizational performance, develop organizational capability, and meet customer & shareholder commitments.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration or related field and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with MS office (Word, Excel and/or PowerPoint).
  • Experience with forecasting, variance analysis and/or budgeting.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Excellent written and verbal skills including demonstrated ability to succinctly present complex information.
  • Ability to work within a fast-moving business.
  • Deep critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be flexible and able to care for a wide range of work assignments with strong attention to detail and an ability to balance multiple projects & processes simultaneously.
  • Can work with minimal direct supervision as well as being a self-starter.
  • Leverage critical thinking skills to provide value-added analysis to management.
  • Financial controls experience relative to multiple contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.).
  • Understanding of RTX financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Able to meet critical deadlines .
  • Experience with application of finance principles, concepts, practices, and standards.

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 118,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
