The Finance Transformation Project Manager will be assigned to project Operate and will develop project management plan and establish project goals and objectives for related activities & projects of medium complexity and larger financial impact. The incumbent will also recommend and participate in improvement initiatives as well as provide day-to-day leadership for team members.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate regular touchpoints with key stakeholders.

  • Liaise with corporate functions and leaders.

  • Work on problems of diverse scope where a better understanding of theory and broader knowledge is required.

  • Execute project roadmaps.

  • Validate or monitor research & developmental aspects of project to ensure compliance.

  • Develop project management plan and establish goals and objectives for projects of limited scope and financial impact.

  • Manage the human, financial and operational resources necessary to meet contractual and company related obligations of the project to ensure profitability.

  • Resolve project work/scheduling problems by reprioritizing activities.

  • Evaluate potential project risk and develop mitigation plan.

  • Implement project work breakdown structure.

  • Control project schedule and cost.

  • Execute the project review cycle process.

  • Analyze and validate budget changes.

  • Monitor and control the billing milestones schedule.

  • Validate and approve budget and schedule change orders.

  • Maintain the project budget at completion.

  • Recommend and participate in improvement initiatives.

  • Make recommendations regarding recruiting and other human resources activities.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in job-related field.

  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience managing complex projects, including at least 2 years in a project management role.

  • PMP certification is a strong asset.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with project management tools.

  • Ability to collaborate across various organizational levels and support leadership teams.

  • A results-driven mindset with a strong focus on achieving project objectives.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.

  • Autonomy in task execution and decision-making within established frameworks.

  • Flexibility and agility in managing priorities, adapting to evolving needs and project urgency.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
