About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IBM Planning Analytics Developer to join the Cigna International Health Delivery Services (IHDS) finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience working with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and a foundation in financial systems, data modelling, and performance optimisation. This role will drive the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Planning Analytics used for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the International Health organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the design, development, and deployment of Planning Analytics (TM1) models and applications.

  • Maintain and enhance existing TM1 cubes, dimensions, rules, and processes.

  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Develop and maintain TurboIntegrator (TI) processes and scripts.

  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Planning Analytics applications.

  • Document technical specifications, processes, and user guides.

  • Provide end-user support and training as needed.

  • Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboard reporting solutions using Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), ensuring reports are intuitive, accurate, and aligned with business needs.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop visualizations that support decision-making across finance and operations.

  • Monitor and evaluate new IBM Planning Analytics software updates, releases, and features; assess their relevance and impact on existing models and processes.

  • Recommend and implement enhancements based on new capabilities or best practices introduced in recent updates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including cube design, TI scripting, and rule writing.

  • Proficiency in MDX and TM1 scripting languages.

  • Familiarity with IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAx).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics or other BI tools.

  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

  • Experience working in a finance or FP&A environment.
