ROLE SUMMARY
The Finance Lead for the Global Biopharma Manufacturing (GBM) Local Sites Operating Unit will oversee all aspects of financial management and site finance for GBM Local Site Operations - Drug Product. This colleague will be the finance business partner for the Vice President of the Local Sites and a member of their Leadership Team. The finance organization for this operating unit is approximately 35 finance colleagues.
This position is responsible for delivering timely financial reporting, financial processes, and systems to the business as well as maintaining a proper internal financial control environment at all sites. The role will oversee site finance teams who provide on-site finance support to the business. The role will be responsible for liaising between Site Finance teams and PGS Finance FP&A to ensure timely and accurate reporting of actuals, budgets and forecasts. This role will also support and understand strategic investment and portfolio analysis relevant to these sites and provide financial counsel to the VP of Ops.
This position will be a member of the PGS GBM Finance Leadership Team which helps execute the strategic direction for PGS Finance ensuring focus on business partnering, process improvement, compliance and colleague engagement & development. This role will also support PGS Finance leadership on global initiatives and special projects.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides financial leadership to the VP for Local Sites to deliver its financial commitments and identify / deliver strategic and value drivers
- Develop annual Opu budgets aligned with OpU targets
- Partners with the business leaders and business development teams to identify, assess and execute on business development and network optimization opportunities. Ensures rigor of business case analysis and financial input in management decisions
- Monitor and ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial results. Partner with GBS and Global Accounting in successfully performing month end close activities.
- Maintain a proper internal control environment.
- Ensure compliance and consistency to processes and procedures, to ensure business continuity.
- Member of GBM Local Sites Leadership Team, contributing to decision making and strategic planning.
- Ensure that sites are audit ready at all times for either internal or external review.
- Establish and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Fosters our Leader Values and Behaviors.
- Oversee all capital investments for Local Sites within GBM.
- Development of staff at all plants – clear communication of objectives and follow-up on attainment of these objectives.
- As required, partner with external agencies to ensure financial support and relationships
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience as Finance Leader. Manufacturing Finance experience is a requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance required; Advance business degree (MBA or CPA/CA) preferred
- Strong financial and business acumen required
- Above Site FP&A experience is an advantage.
- Development of business cases for network and/or portfolio decisions is an advantage along with restructuring processes and reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and controls required
- Ability to work effectively within a matrix organizational structure and to effectively develop business partner relationships is critical
- Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal / relationship management skills, including executive level interactions; successful experience managing managers and colleagues across wide spectrum of cultures and geographies; high performance history of providing clear direction, team alignment, executing priorities and delivering results.
- Focused on improving processes within and across PGS Finance
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to analyze and assimilate data for critical business decisions in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize/manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a time sensitive environment
- Growth mindset. Ability to navigate in complexity and taking decisions under uncertainty

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $169,700.00 to $282,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
