Field Service Technician Apprentice

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and autonomous Field Service Technician Apprentice with a solid foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. The role involves travelling across designated regions to provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for industrial equipment, primarily within the Food & Beverage and Textile Care sectors.

Key Responsibilities

All activities will be carried out with the support and guidance of a dedicated tutor:

  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and perform necessary maintenance or repairs.

  • Provide on-site technical assistance to customers, ensuring timely and effective service.

  • Carry out light maintenance, equipment repairs, and general labour tasks.

  • Communicate with operational unit managers during service visits.

  • Prepare detailed service reports and documentation.

  • Identify and/or order necessary spare parts to complete service tasks.

  • Travel across Italy, primarily within the assigned region, to support customer operations.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, or Hydraulics.

  • Basic knowledge of automation systems (PLC and controllers) is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.

  • Native Italian speaker.

  • Valid driving licence.

  • Strong willingness to travel frequently by car, train, or plane and adapt to life on the road (hotels, restaurants, etc.).

  • Eagerness to learn and grow with a proactive attitude.

Additional Information
