How You’ll Make an Impact
Perform field service, troubleshooting, and maintenance on HVDC and FACTS systems.
Support commissioning of new installations and upgrades.
Lead customer training on control systems and station operations.
Collaborate with warranty and project teams to resolve technical issues.
Provide remote and on-site customer support across North America and abroad.
Promote Hitachi Energy solutions during site visits and identify new opportunities.
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all field activities.
Mentor junior engineers and share technical expertise.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
Minimum 3 years of experience in substations or industrial electrification.
Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance standards.
Hands-on experience with substation equipment and control systems.
Familiarity with power electronics and HVDC/FACTS technologies is a plus.
Ability to travel up to 80% and work independently in field environments.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
