A Glimpse of the Job
The Finance & Business Services Coordinator II, under minimal supervision, is responsible for processing non-standard, general accounting/business tasks in Texas A&M Centralized Finance and Business Services, which may be specific or unique to a department/college, as well as providing general finance support to department personnel.
Essential Duties/Tasks
Accounts Receivable
Implements and coordinates billing for cadet uniform usage, rental and damage
Coordinates credits for returned uniforms
Serves as the main customer service contact for billing questions
Responsible for troubleshooting complex financial questions from students and family members
Accounts Payable
Processes vouchers, contracts, requisition and invoice payments in Aggiebuy for the Corp of Cadets including the Uniform Distribution Center (UDC)
Reviews department expense reports submitted in Emburse to ensure the required receipts and details are included
Serves as liaison to Financial Management Operations and vendors as needed
Account Reconciliation
Reviews and audits reconciliations of accounts. Initiates corrections on accounts when necessary
Generates reports in Business Objects data warehouse as needed for various needs
Coordinates maintenance of unit business files
Coordinates fiscal year end activities
Back-Up Support
Provides back-up support to Business Coordinator III located in the Military Sciences Building and other Academic Accounting & Business Services (AABS) staff as needed

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Six years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting
Five years of related experience
Working knowledge of Aggiebuy, iPayments, Emburse, Apptricity, and other TAMUS business applications
Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
