The Opportunity
We're seeking a dynamic Factory Automation Support Engineer to join our Government Programs team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge factory automation, supporting critical systems that power Intel's advanced semiconductor manufacturing operations.
Schedule: Compressed work schedule (2–4-day workweek, primarily overnight hours)
SHIFT 6 (12-hour Night Shift: Days- Wed, Thurs, Fri and every other Saturday)
Location: On-site required- Remote or Hybrid work mode is not supported.
What You'll Do
Drive Innovation: Provide expert technical support for Factory Automation Applications, Databases, and Infrastructure platforms across Intel Foundry's Technology Development Factories.
Lead Solutions: Deliver advanced support for specialized Intel applications across our global factory network.
Build the Future: Execute high-impact projects including software installations, automation hardening, and CIP software development
Solve Complex Challenges: Troubleshoot sophisticated systems that control material tracking, semiconductor processing, and critical data analysis.

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
U.S. citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
1+ years of experience in any of the following: Java, Python, C# or other object-oriented programming language.
1+ years of experience in Semiconductor Process Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or Factory Automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a STEM field.
3+ years of experience in Factory Automation.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$109,070.00-206,860.00 USD
