Facility Maintenance Technician

As an entry level position, the Facility Maintenance Technician will assist the Maintenance Mechanic with the maintenance of the company facility and equipment including troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance service, as needed, including other duties as assigned.

Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; subject to change based on company needs. Occasional same day or overnight travel to Mutual’s NC branches as needed.

Job Description:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience with building maintenance

• Experience with both hand and power tools

• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety policies and procedures

• Ability to perform a variety of tasks involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry

• Strong verbal communication, organizational and follow-through skills

• Valid NC Driver License with good driving record

• Good attendance

• Detail oriented

• Self starter and team player

Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and Fit for Duty testing.
