Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is seeking a Facilities "Electrical" Maintenance Manager to join our team. This position will provide leadership to our Facility Maintenance team at our facility located in Promontory, Utah.

Role Description & Responsibilities
The Electrical Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance and repair of the Promontory Facility, including plant infrastructure, buildings, and process equipment. This role is responsible for leading a diverse team of skilled technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations that meet company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate daily work assignments for team members, ensuring efficient and timely responses to customer requests.
- Oversee and ensure Preventative Maintenance (PM) plans are completed as scheduled.
- Prioritize and resolve repair tasks to maintain safe operations and minimize downtime.
- Promote and enforce compliance with safety protocols, fostering a culture of safe behavior.
- Encourage teamwork, compliance, punctuality, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Respond promptly and effectively to facility/infrastructure emergencies.
- Manage budgets for materials and labor related to maintenance and repair tasks.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule, track, and report maintenance activities.
- Provide performance management, career development, and conduct regular quarterly reviews for direct reports.
- Engage directly with crews on-site to promote safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Communicate updates, safety information, and leadership directives through regular team meetings.
- Audit and approve timecards promptly to meet payroll and audit requirements.
- Maintain communication with customers and leadership regarding the status of repairs and maintenance activities.

Flexible Schedules: For example, some roles offer the ability to work a 9/80 work schedule, which allows an employee to work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off of work.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in facilities and maintenance, or equivalent experience supporting complex production processes and equipment.
- A minimum of 2 years of craft management or leadership experience.
- Broad understanding of industrial electrical/electronic equipment and HVAC systems.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented while maintaining the ability to understand and address big-picture priorities.
- Proven ability to allocate personnel resources effectively across competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with the Promontory plant’s infrastructure, facilities, and processes (e.g., Mix/Cast, Case Prep/Final Assembly, NDT, Laboratories).
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead highly effective teams.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, 7+ years of equivalent work experience is acceptable.
- Certifications or licenses in an electrical discipline (e.g., Electrician, Electronic Technician, or HVAC Technician) are strongly preferred.
Primary Level Salary Range: $84,300.00 - $126,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
