The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Experienced/Lead Loads and Dynamics Engineer to support fixed-wing aircraft programs within the Air Dominance division located in Berkeley, MO.
This requisition is for an experienced or lead engineer on the flight loads skill team supporting Air Dominance programs in St. Louis, MO. This position requires strong analytical problem-solving skills and working knowledge in aircraft maneuver loads as well as familiarity with aerodynamics, flight dynamics, aircraft stability and control, and aeroelasticity. The ability to effectively communicate with teammates, internal suppliers, and customers is also required.
Position Responsibilities
Develop air vehicle requirements for external loads
Create vehicle-level models for loads and dynamics analysis
Perform analysis to support air vehicle design and integration
Develop or improve existing tools and processes to meet objectives
Plan and execute ground and flight tests for loads validation and verification
Check and interpret analysis and test data for quality and compliance with objectives
Support ground and flight testing by performing pre-test analysis, real-time monitoring of test conditions, post-processing of test data, and documentation of test results
Perform model correlation based on ground and/or flight test results
Define safe operating limits for aircraft based on loads analysis
Proactively inform stakeholders of engineering issues impacting the program
Provide sound engineering judgement and reasoning to guide program decision making
Produce data and documentation to verify structural design requirements and ensure company, customer and regulatory requirements are met
Present engineering artifacts to management and customers during program level reviews and other technical meetings
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Ability to Obtain U.S. secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance or higher
Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Level 3: $95,200 – $128,000
Level 4: $115,600 - $156,400
