Distribution Services strives to be the premier Parts Distributor in Aerospace and Defense, delivering unmatched quality, capability, and service for our global customers. The Technical Portfolio Operations group within Boeing Distribution Services serves to identify, prioritize, and execute business (operational) and technical (integration) efforts that unlock efficiency, enable first-time-quality, improve accountability, engender customer loyalty, and drive profitable growth for the Boeing Distribution business.
This exciting role will work cross-functionally as a leader amongst peers, by identifying and managing the complete life cycles of continuous improvement projects that enable operational excellence with a direct influence on business and customer outcomes.
Position Responsibilities:
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Oversee, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management best practices and industry standards.
Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the Distribution Services business to capture, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, efficiency gain, accountability, and operational excellence.
Derive key data insights and communicate findings to cross-functional leadership to inform and influence decision-making, validate assumptions, and enable business transformation
Be recognized as primary project focal to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Define requirements for, and authorizes commitment of, resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders.
Develop and use collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of IPT objectives. Build rapport and trust among stakeholders and leverage the organization's dynamics to promote program goals by focusing on a shared vision.
Analyze and configure business and technical processes to enable process improvements supported by technology. Understand that technology and process functionality has an interconnected relationship and that each helps transform the other.
Identify risk and opportunity potential, develop mitigation planning and refine business cases.
Represent the business unit to define enterprise requirements and business cases for technological developments, including capture of business requirements, business process mapping, and use cases that allow business partners to source and implement solutions.
Coordinate with business and technology teams, integrating system and data requirements, such as system functions, output requirements, value streams, and process integrations, while incorporating best practices for change impact and change management.
Oversee project management and integration activities for change and integration efforts at a Business Unit level, ensuring a strategic perspective is maintained and organization goals are obtained
Effectively communicate complex concepts and themes to non-technical audiences
Exemplify and foster collaborative ways of working that deliver results in a fast paced and high impact role
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of related work experience
5+ years in direct project or program leadership, collaborating across complex cross-functional organizations with an emphasis on life cycle management and continuous improvement
3+ years defining and managing business requirements and aligning stakeholders
3+ years building detailed project plans that include integrated schedules, cost, resources, and deliverables
3+ years in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Distribution
Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent
Experience with line of business applications such as ERP (S/4Hana), Warehouse Management, Planning and Procurement and business productivity systems.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher (International Business, Business Management, or related field(s)
Aerospace and/or Defense industry experience
Program Management Institute (PMI) Certification
Experience leading complex organizational change management projects
Travel:
This position may require traveling up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $87,000.00 - $133,000.00
