Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Services, is looking for an Experienced Business Analytics Integration Specialist to join our team in Hialeah, FL, Chandler, AZ, O’Fallon, MO or Wichita, KS.

Distribution Services strives to be the premier Parts Distributor in Aerospace and Defense, delivering unmatched quality, capability, and service for our global customers. The Technical Portfolio Operations group within Boeing Distribution Services has two primary roles: first, to deliver a business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting capability that enables informed and value-add decision-making; and second, to identify, prioritize, and execute technical integration and insertion efforts that unlock efficiency, enable quality, engender customer loyalty, and drive profitable growth for the Distribution Services business.

This exciting role will act as a leader amongst peers, enabling powerful business insights, monitoring business performance, identifying areas for improvement, and enabling operational excellence with a direct influence on business outcomes.

Position Responsibilities:

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the Distribution Services business to capture, prioritize, and implement data aggregation, exploration, and visualization capabilities to enable both strategic and tactical decision making

  • Analyzes and governs business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and improved business information processing systems and analytic solutions

  • Represents the business unit to define enterprise requirements and business cases for technological developments, including capture of business requirements, business process mapping, and use cases

  • Coordinates with business and technology teams integrating system and data requirements, such as system functions, output requirements, data acquisition, report development, and execution of user testing and acceptance.

  • Partner with Business Unit and Enterprise-wide partners to refine the Data Analysis Capabilities, including, but not limited to, defining assumptions / inputs, connecting to external / internal data sources, and informing the data structure / taxonomy

  • Establishes strategic direction in the development, integration, standardization, governance, and enhancement of information dashboards and reports

  • Oversee project management and integration activities for change and integration efforts at a Business Unit level, ensuring a strategic perspective is maintained and organization goals are obtained

  • Oversees delivery of end-user support to include immediate and forward-thinking system/data guidance, FAQ management, issue analysis, and training design and delivery.

  • Scale and proliferate the usage of the team’s cross-functional knowledge management and market, customer, supplier, and competitive intelligence

  • Derive key data insights and communicate findings to cross-functional leadership to inform and influence decision-making

  • Effectively communicate complex concepts and themes to non-technical audiences

  • Exemplify and foster collaborative ways of working that deliver results in a fast paced and high impact role 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of related work experience

  • 5+ years in information management, business intelligence, data analysis, and/or complex reporting with experience developing KPI’s and Business Performance Metrics traceability

  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management

  • 3+ years developing or deploying robust analytical models

  • 3+ years in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Distribution

  • Experience creating data exploration and visualization with large and complex data sets

  • Experience with SQL, Oracle OBIEE, SAP S/4Hana, SAP Business Objects, Microsoft Power BI, or equivalent data analysis and visualization tools.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (International Business, Business Management, Applied Computer/Data Science, or related field)

  • Aerospace and/or Defense industry experience

  • Experience with enterprise data warehouses, programming environments, and internal web-development environments

  • Experience with ERP, Warehouse Management, and Demand Planning data, systems and architecture

  • Experience deploying novel data analysis models using AI and/or Machine Learning

Travel:

This position may require traveling up to 25% of the time.

Summary pay range: $89,000.00 - $136,000.00
