The Trade & Working Capital team partners with businesses across Australia, including our Major Client Group (MCG), to provide innovative and trusted solutions across Trade, Receivables, Working Capital, Inventory and Supply Chain Finance.

Your impact

As Executive Manager – Trade & Working Capital, MCG, you’ll lead a national team of Specialists dedicated to supporting CBA’s largest commercial and corporate customers. You’ll drive growth, deepen strategic relationships, and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional customer experiences that set CBA apart in the market.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic vision, customer obsession, business development, growth and team capability. You’ll work closely with Relationship Executives and Product partners to design and deliver bespoke Working Capital, Trade, Receivables, Inventory and Supply Chain solutions to Australian businesses.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive growth and excellence through a national team of Trade & Working Capital Specialists supporting our Major Client Group customers.
  • Deliver growth through customer-led strategies and innovative structuring solutions.
  • Engage directly with key customers on complex transactions, providing deep expertise and strategic insight.
  • Partner across the bank — with Relationship Management teams, Risk, Product, Finance and Operations — to deliver integrated, customer-first outcomes.
  • Drive collaboration, uplift capability and foster a culture of performance, accountability and inclusion.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Proven success leading national or large-scale business development teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of Trade, Receivables, Working Capital, Inventory and Supply Chain Finance solutions, and the ability to navigate credit, structuring and operational risk with confidence.
  • A performance-driven mindset with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder influence and relationship management skills at senior levels, both internally and externally.
  • Strategic and commercial acumen, with a focus on driving customer value and sustainable growth.
