Job Summary
The Executive Assistant (EA) provides high-level administrative support to members of the Executive Team, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and enabling the executives to fulfill their responsibilities in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. This role upholds the philosophy and values of City of Hope by maintaining professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all interactions with patients, caregivers, physicians, staff, and community partners.
As a strategic partner and trusted liaison, the EA manages complex schedules, communications, and priorities in a dynamic, mission-driven healthcare environment. Responsibilities include tracking key projects and performance indicators, organizing high-level meetings, and actively contributing to process improvement initiatives across the hospital. The EA serves as a gatekeeper to the executives, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
3–5 years Executive Assistant experience supporting high level executives
Strong Microsoft experience in Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree

Excellent interpersonal skills in person, by email, and by phone, with a high level of professionalism
Maintains good working relationships with managers, physicians, and staff to aid and support

Excellent proofreading and communication skills, both written and verbal
