The Team
The Executive Office Support Team exists to solve problems before people even know that problems exist! A network of dynamic, driven & business orientated people who operate with very little direction and high levels of autonomy, to support the senior team here at MillerKnoll.
The Role
You will support members of our executive leadership team, including the President of Global Retail business and Chief Strategy & Technology officer plus members of their leadership team.
Managing and assuming responsibility for Executive’s agendas – effectively and proactively prioritizing on behalf of the Executive. Identifying and managing the right priorities and processes to ensure seamless execution of the day-to-day running of the business. Lead the project management of strategic initiatives while overseeing and guiding a small team of executive assistants to ensure seamless execution and alignment across priorities.
You’ll manage projects, make decisions, give guidance, book travel, process expenses, schedule meetings, track actions & deliverables, develop presentations, build itineraries, craft communications, and generally keep up with the fast pace of our most senior people. The opportunity may also present itself to potentially support additional executive leadership.
You’ll be surrounded by a group of smart, team-orientated colleagues who are dedicated to making each other better – key success factors for being a part of this team include your openness to learn, understand and collaborate. Also, you’ll be an active participant in office life at the HQ for the Global Retail business, based in Stamford, CT.
You
You’ll be critical part of the team - strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when under pressure. You’ll see around corners – always looking ahead and anticipating change. You’ll triage well – professional, diplomatic, perceptive and practical and you know when to ask for help. You’ll flex when needed – whatever it takes. You’ll create and build collaborative working relationships – from the bottom to the top and all the way across our organization.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years administrative support, business analyst and/or customer service experience.
3+ years of experience supporting executive-level positions or equivalent.
Exceptional interpersonal skills; written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent personal computer skills and knowledge of office automation software and communication tools currently used in the MillerKnoll office environment.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated understanding of Retail Seasonal Calendars and development cycles preferred.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in time critical situations, with an ability to organize and prioritize work.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible in conducting work activities under continually changing schedules, business conditions, and priorities.
Demonstrated ability to demonstrate high levels of integrity, influence and serve as a trusted confidant.
Ability and willingness to flex to support other executive leadership as needed.
Ability and willingness to travel as needed to achieve business objectives.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
