We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Exchange Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Exchange Online and Exchange On-Premises environments, with a strong secondary focus on Microsoft Security technologies such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and Microsoft Purview. This role involves working with Fortune 1000 customers, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and support of Exchange and security services. This individual must speak English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Microsoft representative, setting an example of excellence through credibility, preparation, and first-class delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for Exchange and Security solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful adoption.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical problems, identify workarounds, and manage escalations as needed.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels—from CIOs to technical staff—building strategic, ongoing customer relationships.
  • Deliver presentations, training, and technical documentation to customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with peers and customer account teams to drive success and transformation.

Required Expertise & Skills:
Technical Depth:

  • Exchange Online: Migrations from on-premises, mail routing configurations (MX to EOP or third-party gateway).
  • Exchange On-Prem: Upgrades, hybrid configurations, DAG, Public Folders, Mail Flow, Disaster Recovery.
  • Security: Defender for O365 (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, email hygiene policies, advanced hunting).
  • PowerShell scripting for Exchange Online administration.

General Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in architecture design, deployment, troubleshooting, and technology management.
  • Deep understanding of Exchange Server architecture (2010/2013/2016/2019/SE) and Exchange Online.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex Exchange environments.
  • Experience with Active Directory architecture (2008–2016).
  • Familiarity with ITIL/Service Management principles.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage critical customer issues and adapt to change effectively.

  • SMTP expertise and mail flow troubleshooting.
  • Failover clustering experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft’s Modern IT Architecture and Strategy.

  • Expertise in Purview features: Retention Policies, Sensitivity Labels, DLP, eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management, Information Barriers, Communications Compliance.
