The Analyst I, Event Analytics supports client-facing event operations by managing and analyzing event data across multiple platforms. You’ll ensure data accuracy and consistency through quality control reporting, deliver insights through data visualization and AI-enhanced analysis, and collaborate closely with internal teams to improve reporting, efficiency, and overall account outcomes. This is an entry-level, client-focused role ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data, and an eagerness to leverage AI tools for business impact.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

  • Create, maintain, and conduct regular operational and quality control reporting to sustain data integrity, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely event data entry across platforms such as Event enCor, budgetWise, and Cvent.

  • Understand and apply client-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contractual reporting requirements.

  • Analyze and visualize data to support client and supplier partner reporting deliverables, business reviews and ad hoc analysis.

  • Leverage AI tools with effective prompts to provide insights and recommendations to enhance efficiency, reporting content, and automation of tasks, while improving overall results.

  • Collaborate with account leadership, sourcing, planning, event accounting, group air, commission collection team, technology, and analytics teams.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Support operations leaders to effectively train internal users on event technology applications, in order to maintain data consistency across all user groups.

  • Develop scheduled and ad hoc reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Tableau, Sigma and Cvent.

  • Work with technology to build data models and gather data from appropriate sources.

 

Where We’re Heading

  • Proactively identify opportunities to automate manual processes using AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and low-code/no-code tools.

  • Integrate new data sources to enrich event analytics.

  • Develop and maintain self-service analytics resources for client, supplier & internal stakeholders.

  • Experience with or willingness to learn advanced analytics platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to and champion new technologies.

 

What You’ll Bring (Must Have’s)

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration or related field preferred), or equivalent experience.

  • 1 year of experience in hospitality, business, or data analysis preferred.

  • Working knowledge of the events, travel, or hotel industry.

  • Strong analytical mindset with a natural curiosity for solving problems.

  • Proficiency in Excel is essential

  • Familiarity with any of the following tools, or their equivalent, is highly desired: Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word), Data visualization tools (Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Sigma), and data preparation/shaping tools (Tableau Prep).

  • Personal experience and curiosity using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT).

  • Good organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Demonstrated aptitude and adaptability for new and evolving technology and software solutions.

 

Nice To Have (Preferred)

  • Experience with custom report and dashboard development.

  • Familiarity with multiple reporting platforms.

 

Working Logistics & Things You Should Know

  • Location: Remote

  • Reports to: Director, Event Analytics

  • No direct reports. No budgetary responsibility.

  • Occasional external interactions with 3rd party vendors and hotel suppliers.

  • This role interacts minimally with client contacts.
