Job Description:
The Ethics & Compliance Manager is a critical role and key member of Airbus China Ethics and Compliance. He or she serves as the Ethics & Compliance advisor and is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the Airbus Ethics & Compliance Programme covering Airbus China. This includes:
Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on Ethics & Compliance matters, by providing guidance and support to all operations employees in China and proactively identifying, mitigating and reporting to relevant senior stakeholders on Ethics & Compliance risks presented by the operations activities in China.
Leading and executing the effective deployment of global Ethics & Compliance policies and procedures in the local context of operational activities in China to ensure compliance with all relevant anti-bribery and corruption laws and regulations (e.g., FCPA, Sapin II, the local laws).
Promotion of a strong Ethics & Compliance / Speak Up culture through strategic deployment and empowerment of the local network of Ethics & Compliance representatives and delivering high-impact engaging training and awareness sessions across the China operations employee population.
Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into potential violations of the Code of Conduct, company policies and applicable laws.
Perform the Due Diligence on suppliers (KYS) and customers (KYC).
Support to the deployment of second level controls, including corporate audits and risk assessments and implementation of related mitigation actions.
Contribution to the wider activities related to deployment of the E&C programme as needed.
Collaboration with colleagues from Ethics & Compliance and other teams (Human Resources, Finance, etc.) and internal clients, to proactively and continuously seek opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the Ethics & Compliance programme in light of evolving business and regulatory needs and risks.
