As ESG Data Quality Expert, you will be the central figure in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and usability of ESG data across our organization. You will operate in a dynamic, global environment, collaborating closely with stakeholders from Risk, Finance, Sustainability, and Tech to drive ESG data quality to the next level. Next to generating business value, there is a strong regulatory interest.
Your Role & Impact
With your expertise in data quality and strong stakeholder awareness, you will:
Act as the Single Point of Contact for all ESG Data Quality (DQ) activities, ensuring alignment across teams and initiatives. This means that you bridge the domains of CDO, COO Risk Data Tribe (transitional DQ work), Risk, Finance, Treasury and Tech (FRIDA).
Build and maintain a comprehensive ESG Data Quality Roadmap, combining your DQ expertise with a deep understanding of stakeholder objectives and regulatory developments. This roadmap should enable all parties to understand how their activities and objectives align, can be prioritized and what value they bring in larger scheme. You are at all time able to convey this.
Participate in ESG data refinement workshops, providing DQ expert input to ensure that we use the time with our stakeholders in an optimal way.
You will be part of the ESG Data Analysis & Modelling Product Group.
Key Responsibilities
1. build a comprehensive roadmap reflecting DQ activities in ESG and be an advocate of the content in conversation with all our stakeholders.
2. ensure effective and efficient incorporation of DQ work into our operation.
3. increase DQ understanding in the broader team (approx 13 data specialists).
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in data quality management, preferably in ESG or regulatory area's. That means both data governance, as well as a thorough understanding of DQ rule setting and issue resolution management.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data issues into clear solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience in roadmap development and strategic planning.
Ability to work in cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
Familiarity with the various ESG reports that ING generates
