Job summary

The ERP Program/Project manager plays a key role in managing and optimizing the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure seamless business operations across departments. This position acts as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units to translate organizational needs into effective ERP solutions.

The role is for the end-to-end lifecycle of the ERP system — from implementation and configuration to maintenance, support, and continuous improvement. By leveraging deep knowledge of both technology and business processes, this role helps streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and support decision-making through system-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead ERP enhancements implementation from initiation through post-go-live support.
  • Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets monitoring and reporting on progress.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with executive sponsors and end-users to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly to minimize project impact.
  • Process Improvement: Work with business process owners to streamline and document workflows that align with ERP best practices.
  • Change Management & Training: Lead change management efforts to drive user adoption; coordinate end-user training and communication.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that system configuration, testing, and data migration meet organizational and compliance standards.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project updates and performance metrics on project milestones.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of project management experience focused on ERP projects.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in HP Industrial.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
  • Knowledge of ERP system architecture, data migration, and integration processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodology.
