What you will do: 

  • Serve as the prime technical contact on projects in areas of production support, especially on Material Review Board, and apply an extensive and broad knowledge of structural analysis.   

  • Provides guidance to other technical disciplines and support organizations. 

  • Lead teams of professionals to perform structural analysis on programs of high complexity and critical importance to the organizationDeveloping technical solutions to complex problems.  

  • Develop and validate standard work to solve problems. 

  • Management of financial information, such as interpretation of reports, financial statements, and accountability of budgets management. 

  • Handling conflict situations with areas of interaction, especially production environments, as well as internal clients in general and occasionally external clients. 

  • Influence others outside of own job area regarding policies practices and procedures. 

  • Oversee coordination of Development, Value Engineering, Producibility, and Sustaining Engineering efforts, ensuring alignment with program and customer needs.  

  • Develop and implement a cost-effective sourcing strategy that aligns with both budget constraints and long-term business goals.  

  • Establish performance metrics and reporting structures to track progress and ensure accountability. 

  • Manage a team of primarily experienced professionals. 

  • Problems faced may be difficult to moderately complex. 

  • Enabler of Continuous Improvement events within his area of control 

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Experience in leadership, negotiation, delegation, and general soft skills. 

  • Master's degree in management is desirable. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 7 years’ experience leading teams   

  • Background in structural or stress engineering analysis. 

  • Proven track record in managing or guiding engineering teams  

  • Skilled in working closely with internal and external stakeholders or clients  

  • Knowledge of aircraft structural systems, components, and assemblies.  

  • Strong grasp of load transfer principles and balancing; hands-on experience with classical analysis techniques. 

  • Skilled in Conversational and technical English   

  • Lean oriented with exposure to and application of process improvement methodologies. 

Qualifications We Prefer: 

  •  Proven successful leadership in creating and maintaining a team-oriented work environment. 

  • Experience in leadership, negotiation, delegation, and general soft skills. 

  • Excellent communication skills; Management of very demanding delivery schedules. 

  • Experience in continuous improvement environments and lean activities. 

  • Resourceful in balancing assets based on demand forecasts.
