RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiate, develop and coordinate environmental programs in APN to minimize environmental risks and ensure environmental compliance;
 - Identify, evaluate and support site to implement the environmental legal requirements;
 - Provide regional ESHQ environmental related reports;
 - Conduct environmental risk assessment and develop plans for risk management for operations in the region;
 - Provide value-added support in ESHQ topics with expertise, especially in environment;
 - Participate in ESHQ review for investment project in the region to ensure compliance;
 - Lead on incident investigation and analysis in the region especially for environment incident and release;
 - Provide environmental training to ESHQ professionals, employees and contractors;
 - Participate in environment and other related committees and associations.
 
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical/safety/environment/engineering, nice with master’s degree.
 - 5+ years solid working experience in environmental in chemical manufacture sites.
 - Good knowledge of environmental protection principle of "three simultaneous" in new, renovated, and expanded projects.
 - Keen insight in environmental related laws, regulations and standards of newly publish or their update, timely delivery of the information and value-added service within region.
 - Know well solid waste handling processes, especially in trading and external manufacturing processes.
 - Good coordination skills in matrix organization, nice having working experience in chemical head office.
 - Strong responsible for making decisions with priority setting and multi-tasking capabilities.
 - Capabilities to make judgement on critical issues and flexibility to manage unexpected situations.
 - Fluent English skill being able to communicate in English both in speaking and writing.
 
- A plus with professional certification (Registered Environmental Impact Assessment Professional, etc.).
