The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:
Position Overview:
RTX Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Enterprise Quality Audit Team as an Operations Excellence Lead. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient planning and scheduling of quality audits across our multiple business units, including Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of quality processes, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Do:
Audit Planning and Scheduling:
Develop a comprehensive site audit agenda that covers the Site’s appliable QMS Clause (s).
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Audit Lead, Site POC’s, etc.) to ensure the availability of necessary resources and personnel in support of the audit agenda.
Work with EQA team leaders to adjust master audit schedules as needed to accommodate changes in business priorities or resource availability.
Process Improvement leveraging CORE operating system
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the audit planning and scheduling functions.
Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Data Management and Reporting:
Generate regular reports on audit progress, compliance status, and key performance indicators (Audit conducts, Type of findings, Risk Scorecard, Site QMS Health, etc.)
Utilize data analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for initial audit-related inquiries and communications
Provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders on the status of audit activities. [internal team, enterprise team leadership]
Facilitate meetings and discussions to resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues.
Training
Manage in-house training program in coordination with Plexus by scheduling training, coordinating trainer availability, student enrollment process, logistics, PO/Invoice coordination, and any training metrics as required.
Compliance and Standards:
Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes that may impact audit processes.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree (in business administration, Operations Management, Quality Management), or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations planning, or quality management, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Strong understanding of quality audit processes and standards.
Data analytics
Proficiently Microsoft suite
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
CORE expert level is a plus.
Existing AATT (Aerospace Auditor Transition Training) Certification.
Certification as an Aerospace Auditor (AA) or Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA )
Experience planning and coordinating multiple audits simultaneously.
Working knowledge of ETQ/ BU Corrective Actions processes/systems
Proficiency in presenting audit results and concepts to key stakeholders and executive management.
ASQ Certification (CQA, CQE, CQM).
Existing Secret Security Clearance (for Raytheon’s DoD contracts).
CORE certification
Proficiency with audit management software and tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
