Role Description

  • We are seeking a proactive Engineering Transformation Coordinator to support strategic engineering transformation initiatives across DWS India. The role will coordinate transformation workstreams, drive agile execution routines, support capability uplift programs, and ensure effective communication with global and local stakeholders.
  • A key part of this role includes supporting the hiring process to help raise the engineering talent bar across the organisation. Strong Excel capabilities including writing VBA  macros are essential; Python pandas knowledge is an added advantage.

Your key responsibilities

Engineering Transformation & Agile Execution

  • Support the Engineering Transformation Office in planning, coordinating, and tracking transformation initiatives across India
  • Drive the rhythm of business: plan, run, and document transformation ceremonies and routines (stand-ups, showcases, planning sessions, leadership sync-ups, stakeholder reviews, etc.)
  • Track execution across transformation themes (e.g., DevOps uplift, engineering excellence, platform modernisation, capability development, culture-strengthening initiatives)
  • Maintain and evolve transformation dashboards, KPIs, OKRs, progress trackers, and reporting packs


Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Prepare high-quality leadership updates, executive packs, status reports and communication artefacts
  • Maintain key transformation artefacts like action logs, communication trackers, decisions, risks, and issues
  • Liaise with global and India engineering teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery


Hiring & Talent Uplift

  • Coordinate and support the hiring process for engineering roles in India
  • Schedule and run hiring calls, interview debriefs, and talent review discussions
  • Track hiring pipeline, interview progress, candidate experience and feedback loops
  • Ensure structured evaluation to raise the engineering talent bar and improve quality of hires


Tooling & Data / Reporting

  • Leverage Excel for reporting, analytics, KPI tracking and automation
  • Use VBA/Python pandas for productivity, automation, and data insights
  • Support process improvement and standardisation of engineering practices and playbooks

Your skills and experience

  • 2–6 years of experience in Engineering Transformation, PMO, Agile Delivery, Talent/Tech Enablement, or similar roles
  • Strong understanding of Agile ways of working within engineering/tech teams
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, dashboards, data interpretation)
  • Strong communication, stakeholder handling and follow-up discipline
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in parallel
  • Ability to work with technical teams and convert discussions into meaningful execution & reporting
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros or basic Python scripting for automation
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, DevOps and engineering productivity tools
  • Exposure to OKRs, transformation frameworks or change management
  • Agile or PM certifications (CSM, SAFe, Scrum Master, PMP/PMI-ACP)
     

Educational & Technical Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • More than 5 years’ experience in enterprise architecture and full-stack development.
