As an Engineering Technician a typical day might include the following:
Implement custom designed automated assembly processes.
Write and/or conduct experiments in support of department objectives.
Write system documentation and work instructions.
Program custom designed control systems.
Participate in system specifications, system design, and design reviews.
Train assemblers, operators, and maintenance staff as needed.
Provide support to engineering staff and management as needed.
This job might be for you if you have:
Two-year technical associate degree including industrial automation courses
Minimum 3 years experience providing process automation and engineering support in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics, PLC programming, and vision systems
Working knowledge of IEC 1131-3 programming methods
Familiarity with modern test equipment
It would be nice if you had:
Experience troubleshooting process and machinery problems
Experience with CAD tools such as Autocad and Solidworks
Experience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments
Experience programming and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and machinery

Salary Range Data
$35.83 - $52.95 per hour. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
