The Opportunity:


CACI is seeking an Engineering Technician to provide essential mechanical support to Navy operations by managing equipment maintenance, repairs, and material handling. This position ensures that all mechanical work complies with Navy standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Order and manage spare parts and materials required for repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure all mechanical work is performed in accordance with Navy safety and operational standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Mechanical background.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain or maintain base driving authorization.
  • Current forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon assignment.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. and perform physical duties related to mechanical work.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and adherence to Navy safety and operational procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.


Desired:

  • Experience as a Machinist or Programmer.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.
 

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:

$28.79
