The Role:  

Entegris is currently seeking a Compliance Engineer to join our Engineering team. The Compliance Engineer will be responsible for driving creation/validation, detailing, and documenting of the designs of systems and the compliance to global standards such as ASME pressure vessel and piping standards, EU PED (Pressure Equipment Directive), IEC Ex and others. They will review products to ensure they meet the requirements of the applicable standard(s). They will support initiatives of existing and new products to comply with national and international standards.  Work with domestic and international company resources and vendors in the application process of products for certification. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • In depth knowledge and application of global vessel design codes such as ASME, PED, GB including preparation of calculations and procedures. 

  • Coordinate certification activities with sanctioning bodies. 

  • Support on site validations and audits. 

  • Develop and support process and documentation activities for internal processes.  

  • Coordinate with Engineers to develop supporting documentation. 

  • Create/assemble/coordinate documentation package including Calculations, Bills of Material, Welding Procedure Specification, Procedure Qualification Records, Material Test Reports and review for completeness and compliance with regulations. 

  • Perform design reviews of UHP gas purifier system requirements for conformance to necessary codes as applicable. 

  • Coordinate multiple projects concurrently. 

  • Must be able to multi-task across one or more projects at any one time either individually or as part of a cross functional team. As part of this you must be able to recognize timescale issues thereby developing and implementing corrective actions to ensure the deadlines are met. 

  • Familiar with BS/EN CODE and ASME Performs and documents evaluations of components to the rules and requirements of Section III of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Utilizes the results from these evaluations to optimize component(s) design. 

  • Preparation of engineering specification, mechanical data sheets, technical bid evaluation and proposal and provide technical bid tap, review and approval of vendor design calculations, fabrication drawings, WPS/PQR, Inspection & Testing Plan (ITP) etc. 

  • Working with QC leads to perform critical holding point inspection during fabrication, installation and commissioning phases, co-ordination with QC inspectors and other engineering disciplines to resolve problems during engineering, fabrication, commissioning stages. 

What We Seek: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related Science.  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio) 

  • Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines. 

  • Detail oriented and strong problem solving and decision-making skills. 

  • Able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization. 

  • Prefer Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer. 

  • Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software for the creation of drawings and models, preferably SolidWorks. 

  • Filtration / Vessel application and sizing experience with the Industrial Process market such as Fuel / Chemicals, Offshore and Energy market segments. 

  • Excellent documentation skills (Specifications, Test Plans, Test Reports) 

  • Knowledge with international standards such as API, ASME, BS, and ANSI, Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) relevant to the domain of chemical process plant operations. 

  • Good knowledge and experience in inspection of pressure vessels fabrication, materials, welding and NDE 

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is preferred) 

Outstanding Candidates Will Have: 

  • Exceptional documentation and technical writing capabilities.  

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment.  

  • Experience working in a global company with cross-site collaboration. 

  • Operate independently with minimal supervision.
