Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the Information Technology (IT) Technical Specialist Lead in an Enterprise shared services environment.
  • You will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance and configuration management of multiple technologies associated with network and computing systems.
  • You will serve as the technical lead to create, plan, and implement improvements to existing network and computing system architectures.
  • You will serve as a team member responsible for implementation, integration, and daily operation of network and computing systems in a Data Center or Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
  • You will monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot the network and computing systems across the Local and Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) to maintain optimal performance and prevent catastrophic failures.
  • You will support troubleshooting, problem isolation and resolution efforts, from start to finish, ensuring outages are resolved in a timely manner.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: expertise in routing and switching, network management, and hardware configuration; project management, budgeting, and prioritizing skills..
