Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties:

  • You will diagnose equipment malfunction through the use of system analysis, test equipment, and schematics.
  • You will perform final technical operations and verify that the system, equipment, or component is performing within designated certification parameters.
  • You will operate and analyze equipment/systems to diagnose and isolate discrepancies which cannot be located and corrected through established procedures.
  • You will compile records of system/equipment failures, actions taken, and costs involved to make recommendations in correctly operating the system/equipment and suggest cost savings innovations.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying practical knowledge of the theories, principles, and techniques of electronics and the ability to apply this knowledge to the accomplishment of difficult, but well-precedent projects. Experience analyzing engineering literature, procedures and technical drawings. Experience making sound decisions using basic engineering principles. Experience demonstrating the capacity to comprehend and apply measurement practices while working independently and showing linear progression in dealing with problems.
