In this role, you will be responsible to provides electrical services to maintain and improve the reliability of electrical controls and power distribution systems for assets and plant operations. The role will be required troubleshoot, service, and restore failed equipment, infrastructure to full operation. The role will work independent and with maintenance, day support and asset teams. As a certified Red Seal Electrician, you will perform work in accordance to all safety regulations and adhere to Kimberly-Clark safety standards, and policies.
This role will require workorder completion, and POKA rounds as part of standard work. The role will be required to participate in regularly operation downs, extended downs and annual Power down and other engineering projects.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Red Seal Ticket: 309A Electrician (Construction & Maintenance) or 442A Industrial electrician is a must.
High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3year’s experience in the trade.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Basic Computer Skills to work with Digital Technology, Platforms and Enterprise Management Systems.
Demonstrate a Safety mindset and behaviours.
Forklift license would be considered an asset.
Shift Work: 3 days on/3 days off/3 nights on/3 off schedule, 12 hr shifts (6:30 – 6:30)
Able to work in an environment with (noise, dust, moving equipment, fluctuating temperatures etc.) May include prolonged periods of sitting (on forklift), along with bending, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs, heights and confined spaces.
Willing to follow PPE Requirements will include safety shoes, hearing protection and other appropriate PPE as designated
Responsibilities:
Installs, repairs, and maintains facility electrical equipment and systems such as motor drives, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, conduit systems, etc.)
Works and forms schematics, diagrams, and blueprints under minimal supervision
Create/change/display work orders and execute planned, unplanned maintenance tasks
Responsible for troubleshooting solving production equipment issues, using laptop computer and PLC programs as well as standard electrical tools – multimeter, megger etc.
Ensure regular checks, calibrating instruments, replacing worn parts, and responding to emergency situations
Interpret vibration analysis, machine operations, troubleshooting, fabrication and understanding of safety
Perform some basic Instrumentation and Control Technician skills
Respond with Service mindset
Use daily digital, mobile and computer-based application for standard work such as SAP, POKA.
Lead maintenance teams during shutdowns and projects
Adhere to Lean Manufacturing Practices such as problem solving, 5S
Other duties as assigned.

Starting Hourly Wage: $42.64 CAN
