Description -
HP Print Operations Inkjet Platform Engineering team provides the end-to-end Engineering leadership to our Manufacturing Partners, Research & Development Labs and Global Business Units to enable manufacturing solutions for delivering timely New Product Introduction (NPI) to market and ensuring robust product quality to achieve great Customer Experiences.
This role is on-site at the HP ODM factory in Phetchaburi, with working days from Monday to Friday. Role & Responsibilities:
Influence R&D and GBU in the development of new products, services, and solutions for HP's Print portfolio.
Coordinate and lead internal & outsourced development activities with manufacturing partners and suppliers in support of the worldwide manufacture of Inkjet products from NPI through end of lifecycle.
Support Assurance of Supply part qualification activities to avoid or mitigate product shipment risks due to part availability issues.
Lead initiatives to proactively identify customer impacting quality issues for Inkjet products in the field and factory and drive development of mitigation plans.
Take cost out through Automation, Design influence, Manufacturing Overheads/ Line Tooling/ Test optimization, and Warranty reduction.
Drive Future Ready Transformation initiatives to support HP Supply Chain evolution to Agile + Resilient.
Collaborate and communicate with Management, internal and outsourced development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
This role focuses on electronics and process engineering within our Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) operations, supporting the design, assembly, and quality of PCA (Printed Circuit Assembly) boards and electronic modules used in HP printers.
Qualifications:
Fluent in English (Both written and spoken).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering.
Typically 1-5 years experience.
New graduates are also welcome.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design.
Experience or understanding of appropriate engineering design tools and software packages.
Proficiency in programming and/ or data visualization tools is a plus.
