About the role:

As a Grocery Ecommerce executive there is opportunity to develop your ecommerce experience partnering with some of our key grocery customers.

This role is an integral part of the team managing the strategic long term and day-to-day relationship with key grocery customers in partnership with the egrocery lead and retail media team, building winning strategic and category partnerships, managing our online mix and bringing digital to live in the off-trade function. You will bring a solutions driven attitude, you’ll solve category problems and find opportunities to succeed with our customers.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the egrocery lead executing the egrocery strategy for the grocers alongside the respective Account teams and Customer Marketing Managers.
  • Support on driving online initiatives within the grocery.com accounts, growing Diageo share and the size of the total category.
  • Track category activity on the site, and report on Diageo’s performance, ensuring we are constantly reviewing and learning.
  • In partnership with the egrocery lead monitor the external contact strategy with key category and contacts across the retailers to build and enhance Diageo’s digital and grocery relationships.
  • Coordinate the egrocery scorecard to share with the customer and internal collaborators to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with the Diageo Customer Marketing Managers to ensure online is built into all campaigns.
  • Ensure new product launches are featured on time at launch, and to high quality standard.
  • Work with cross functional internal and external teams to bring digital brand initiatives to life at the point of purchase.
  • Work closely with systems and commercial finance to analyse the dot.com P&L
  • Support on the digital element of Customer Brand Days for relevant accounts.
  • Become an integral member of the account team ensuring digital is considered for through all projects and touchpoints internally and externally.
  • Produce day 1 reports each promotional period.
  • Review category and provide updates to the Head of Digital sales and egrocery Lead on performance in the key accounts and trends.
